Kristen Wiig has signed on to star in Relativity Media's Untitled Heist Comedy, formerly known as Loomis Fargo, alongside Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis.

The project is based on the true story of four dim-witted Southerners who pulled off one of the biggest heists in American history, robbing over $20 million from a Loomis Fargo armored truck. Zach Galifianakis plays an unhappy armored truck driver, who is convinced by his workplace crush (Kristen Wiig) to join her crew in their plot to rob a bank vault, although neither her nor her accomplices plan on meeting up with him after the big score. Jim Carrey was previously attached to star, but he is no longer involved at this time.

Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) is directing from a script originally written by Up All Night creator Emily Spivey, with Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer working on the most recent draft. Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn are producing, with Danny McBride, Jody Hill, Kevin J. Messick, Erin David, Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley executive producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin this July in North Carolina.

Kristen Wiig recently starred in the indie comedy Hateship Loveship, and she also lends her voice to the upcoming animated sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2, in theaters June 13.
