Fresh off her starring role in RV, Kristin Chenoweth will next be seen in the family comedy Deck the Halls for Regency Enterprises. The film was originally called All Lit Up.

The former opera singer will star opposite Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick as two neighbors in a small New England town who go to war when one of them decides to decorate his house for Christmas with so many lights that it will be nearly visible from space, notes The Hollywood Reporter. The neighborhood is turned upside down as the two families try to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Chenoweth will play the wife of DeVito's character.

Matt Corman and Chris Ord wrote the original screenplay for Deck the Halls, with Don Rhymer getting the final polish job; John Whitesell will direct.
