Last week, the new Kung Fury trailer was released, along with the announcement that the 30-minute short film was making its broadcast premiere on the El Rey Network on Thursday, May 28. Today, fans can watch the full short film online, which may be the most insane short you'll see all year, complete with martial arts, 1980s throwback action, Adolf Hitler and Vikings. The short film was launched through a Kickstarter campaign in December 2013, which was backed by more than 17,000 people who together gave more than $630,000.

Kung Fury is an over-the-top 80's action comedy that features Kung Fury, a Kung Fu renegade cop who travels back in time to kill his Nemesis, Adolf Hitler, the most dangerous Kung Fu master criminal of all time. Kung Fury seeks revenge after one of his friends was assassinated by Adolf Hitler, aka Kung Führer, as he sets out to end the Nazi empire once and for all. The film features nazis, dinosaurs, vikings and cheesy one-liners. David Hasselhoff performed his theme song for the groundbreaking short film, "True Survivor."

Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg stars as Kung Fury, with a supporting cast that includes Eleni Young as Barbarianna, Helen Ahlson as Katana, Andreas Cahling as Thor, Steven Chew as Dragon, Leopold Nilsson as Hacker-man, Jorma Taccone as Adolf Hitler, and Per-Henrik Arvidius as Chief McNichols. David Sandberg and his production team are currently prepping a feature-length version of Kung Fury, so stay tuned for more updates on that project. In the meantime, take a look at the full 30-minute short Kung Fury in all of its violent, insane glory.
