Sundance has quite the line-up planned for this year, which will include the new biblical drama Last Days in the Desert. Ewan McGregor stars as Jesus Christ in the film. Written and directed by Rodrigo García, we have a first look photo as the movie prepares for its premiere this January in Utah.

Seen here as Jesus, Ewan McGregor will also be playing the devil. Last Days in the Desert serves as an 'imagined' chapter from Christ's forty days of fasting in the desert. Heading into the wilderness, Jesus must struggle with the fate of a family in crisis as well as Satan himself. This sets him up for a quite challenging task.

Tye Sheridan, Ciarán Hinds and Ayelet Zurer co-star in Last Days in the Desert. Rodrigo García is known for his films Albert Nobbs, Mother and Child and Delirium. The movie will premiere Sunday, January 25th at 6:30 at the Eccles Theater in Park City.
