RLJE Films has unveiled an all-new poster and accompanying trailer for Last Looks. Formerly titled Waldo, the movie stars Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson as an unlikely pairing who come together to get to the bottom of a murder mystery. The film will be released on Feb. 2, 2022, and you can check out the new trailer below.

The official synopsis for Last Looks reads: "Charlie Waldo (Charlie Hunnam) is an ex-LAPD superstar who left the force and now lives a life of simplicity and solitude deep in the woods. Alastair Pinch (Mel Gibson) is an eccentric actor who spends his days drunk on the set of his TV show. When Pinch’s wife is found dead, he is the prime suspect and Waldo is convinced to come out of retirement to investigate what happened. The case finds Waldo contending with gangsters, Hollywood executives and pre-school teachers, all in pursuit of clearing Pinch’s name … or confirming his guilt."

Last Looks also stars Morena Baccarin (Deadpool 2), Lucy Fry (Bright), Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings), Cliff "Method Man" Smith (How High), Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption), and Rupert Friend (Homeland). Directed by Tim Kirkby (Brockmire), the film was written by Howard Michael Gould and based on his novel of the same name. Brad Feinstein (Bruised) produced with Andrew Lazar (American Sniper), Steven Shainberg (Rupture), and Christina Weiss Lurie (Persuasion).

Last Looks is scheduled to be released in early February. It has been given a day-and-date release meaning it will be playing in theaters, on VOD, and on digital. This follows RLJE picking up the North American rights to the movie back in December.

“We’re delighted to release Last Looks next year. We cannot wait to work with the film’s amazing cast who will take audiences through this unique ‘whodunit’ adventure," RLJE Films' Chief Acquisitions Officer Mark Ward said at the time.

We've been seeing Mel Gibson popping up a lot in recent years with a variety of roles. It was recently reported that he'd also be starring in the upcoming fantasy adventure movie Boys of Summer with further plans to return with Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon 5, a sequel he also plans to direct. The actor and filmmaker is also plotting The Passion of the Christ 2. Meanwhile, he will be appearing on the small screen following his casting in the John Wick spinoff series The Continental.

As for Charlie Hunnam, the Sons of Anarchy star recently appeared in The Gentlemen and also has a role in the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller series Shantaram. In the series, Hunnam will play an Australian bank robber who flees the country to India. Richard Roxburgh, Radhika Apte, Alexander Siddig, and Antonia Desplat also star. It's not yet clear when the series will be available for streaming.

To catch Gibson and Hunnam in their newest movie Last Looks, watch out for the film to be released on Feb. 2.
