It seems that William Petersen's replacement on a hit CBS series is sticking around for at least one more season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Laurence Fishburne has signed on for another season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Fishburne, who replaced Petersen two seasons ago, has signed a new deal that will keep him on through next year's 2010-2011 season. It was said that Fishburne's character will go up against two serial killers in the upcoming Season 10 finale, one played by guest star Matt Ross and the other played by Bill Irwin, reprising his role as Nate Haskell, the "Dick and Jane Killer." It was also said that Marty Ingels will guest-star on the season finale as well.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which also stars Marg Helgenberger, George Eads, Paul Guilfoyle, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall, Jorja Fox and David Berman, airs on Thursday nights at 9 PM ET on CBS.
