According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has tapped Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to pen a college comedy for the studio under its deal with Web site and Par-based Alphaville.

Eisenberg and Stupnitsky, who write for The Office, are WGA- nominated for their work on the NBC laffer.

Par announced the deal in July. Pact was designed to find Par a feature project in the same vein as college-set hit Animal House or similarly themed comedies like "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" or American Pie.

Eisenberg and Stupnitsky then came up with a winning concept for Par execs. The logline is being kept under wraps.
