Legendary is developing a live-action remake of a Serbian animated film Technotise, picking up a pitch by screenwriter Laeta Kalogridis, who worked on Avatar and wrote Shutter Island, according to Heat Vision.

The Serbian movie, Technotise: Edit & I, is set in Belgrade in the year 2074, and centered on a failing art student who decides to get a chip implant to circumvent studying but gets more than she bargained for.

Scott Glassgold and Raymond Brothers acquired the remake rights to the Serbian film, and had Jaron Pitts to make a fake trailer imagining what a possible Technotise movie would look like. The result was a high-octane two-minute piece montaging Milla Jovovich clips with scenes from Minority Report, Children of Men, Avatar and others.

The trailer went viral in February, generating interest in the live-action remake. Check out the trailer below!
