Legendary Pictures has been behind some of Warner Bros. biggest hits in the past year. Those films include 300, Batman Begins, and Superman Returns. According to Variety, the studio has raised one billion dollars in order to extend its partnership with Warner Bros.

Legendary Pictures will now be with the WB until 2012. The terms of their contract will remain the same as they were before. Legendary agrees to co-finance half of any movie it makes with Warner Bros. They will partner on seven or eight more films before their contract is up.

The films currently in production at Legendary Pictures include an adaptation of Dc Comics' The Losers, a big screen adaptation of the series Kung Fu, and a remake of Clash of the Titans.
