The Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 poster has arrived, and it's epic! Earlier this week, The CW aired the season finales for Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow, but the fourth DC Comics series, Legends of Tomorrow, had already wrapped up its run back in early April. While we'll have to wait until The CW reveals its premiere dates for the 2017-2018 season to see when the show returns, the first poster for the series brings the whole team back together. Unfortunately, this poster doesn't offer any hints as to who the villain may be, but at least we know for sure there will be no major changes within the team itself.

Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh debuted this poster on Twitter, which features, from left to right, Victor Garber as Martin Stein, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel. When The CW announced its fall 2017-2018 schedule, the network's plot synopsis did not mention Vixen, but it seems that was just an oversight, since she still appears to be part of the team.

After the defeat of Eobard Thawne and his equally nefarious Legion of Doom, the Legends face a new threat created by their actions at the end of last season. In revisiting a moment in time that they had already participated in, they have essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms, a scattering of people, animals, and objects all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question.

With the Time Bureau effectively the new sheriffs in town, the Legends disband, until Mick Rory discovers one of them in the middle of his well-deserved vacation in Aruba. Seeing this as an opportunity to continue their time traveling heroics, Sara wastes no time in getting the Legends back together. We reunite with billionaire inventor Ray Palmer, the unconventional historian-turned-superhero Nate Heywood, and Professor Martin Stein and Jefferson "Jax" Jackson , who together form the meta-human Firestorm. Once reunited, the Legends will challenge the Time Bureau's authority over the timeline and insist that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau's capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

The CW hasn't announced quite yet if the Justice Society of America will return on this hit suerperhero series. In the back half of this current season, Legends of Tomorrow was moved from Thursday nights at 8 PM to Tuesday nights at 9 PM, following The Flash, with the show retaining the same time slot for Season 3. The CW also ordered yet another DC Comics series, Black Lightning, although The CW has stated that they won't air all five of their superhero shows at once, which means at least one of these shows will be held for mid-season. Based on the characters from DC, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer and Sarah Schechter. Take a look at the new poster for DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 below.
