Just last week, we got the first trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie. Today, we get a second trailer that goes deep inside Wayne Manor with Bruce. According to this hardcore street vigilante, The LEGO Batman Movie is vastly superior to The Lego Movie because it revolves strictly around the iconic DC Comics superhero. As he explains, when you are as super as the Dark Knight, you don't get one trailer, you get TWO trailers in one week!

The latest The LEGO Batman Movie trailer goes deep inside Wayne Manor. Bruce Wayne is seen having a heart to heart with his dead parents. He then mistakes Alfred for an intruder and kicks him into a piano. The trusty butler has discovered that Bruce is mourning the loss of his mom and dad, and then rattles off all of the times when he last retreated to the den to stare at his vast photo gallery, referencing all of the past Batman movies that have come out over the last couple of decades. But does Bruce want to talk about how he's truly feeling? No!

Warner Bros. gave us our first look at The LEGO Batman Movie on the eve of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's release, with the first photos and a poster. In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The Lego Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble - LEGO Batman - stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

Will Arnett voiced the mini-fig version of Batman in The Lego Movie, which went on to become a box office hit, taking in $257.7 million domestically and $469.1 million worldwide, from a $60 million budget. That movie's success lead to Warner Bros. announcing a number of spinoffs, with The LEGO Batman Movie arriving first next February, followed by Ninjago (September 22, 2017) and The Lego Movie Sequel (May 18, 2018). Will Arnett returns to voice Batman in this animated sequel, and this time he's joined by a new supporting cast.

The story centers on Batman's solitary life in the Batcave and the only meaningful relationship in his life, with his butler Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes). The plot thickens when Batman's world is upended by the arrival of two sidekicks, Dick Greyson, a.k.a. Robin (Michael Cera) and Barbara Gordon, a.k.a. Batgirl (Rosario Dawson). The voice cast is rounded out by Zach Galifianakis as The Joker and Mariah Carey as the mayor of Gotham City. Director Chris McKay, who served as the animation director on The Lego Movie, teased yesterday that several other well-known superheroes will be featured in cameo appearances, although he wouldn't mention any characters by name.

Production is still under way in Australia, creating an intricate LEGO world for this beloved superhero. The director teased they're building an "entire city, the Batcave and vehicles," and they're going "deep into Batman's world." The LEGO Batman Movie will open in quite a competitive weekend on February 10, 2017, going up against Universal's Fifty Shades Darker and Lionsgate's John Wick: Chapter 2. The following week, on February 17, 2017, it will face even stiffer competition, with Sony's The Dark Tower, Warner Bros.' Fist Fight, Universal's The Great Wall and 20th Century Fox's The Maze Runner: The Death Cure all debuting. Take a look at the second trailer, and stay tuned for more on The LEGO Batman Movie.
