A classic character from the J.R.R. Tolkien novels and a brand new character meet in the latest photo for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Orlando Bloom reprises his role from The Lord of the Rings trilogy as Legolas, who is seen alongside Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel, the head of the Elven Guard who we reported in June has a significant relationship with Legolas in director Peter Jackson's sequel.
