The cast of Juror No. 2 continues to expand. Deadline reports that Leslie Bibb (Jupiter's Legacy) has signed on for a role in the film from director Clint Eastwood. The project has been promoted as Eastwood's last movie as director, and he'll also be producing alongside Tim Moore, Jessica Meier, Adam Goodman, and Matt Skiena. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell are executive producing. The film is written by Jonathan Abrams.

Meanwhile, word is The Night Agent star Gabriel Basso is also in talks for a role in Juror No. 2, but hasn't yet officially signed on. Other cast members that have been announced for the film include Nicholas Hoult (Renfield), Toni Collette (Hereditary), Zoey Deutch (The Politician), and Kiefer Sutherland (Rabbit Hole).

Bibb previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role as Christine Everhart in the Iron Man movies. She reprised the role by voicing the character in the animated series What If...? on Disney+. Bibb would also have a main role in Netflix's superhero series Jupiter's Legacy and more recently starred in the streamer's new workplace comedy series God's Favorite Idiot. The actress also stars in the new film comedy About My Father with Robert De Niro, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Kim Cattrall.

“The movie is really great,” Bibb recently told MovieWeb about her role in About My Father. “But this one [Kim Cattrall] and Bob [De Niro] together are so fun. That scene where they're smoking cigars... And somebody was like, ‘Kim, would you really let him cut your [character’s] hair?’ And I was like, ‘Did you see the scene they had before? They have crazy chemistry. They're smoking cigars.’ It was this moment where you saw Tigger’s curtain drop. It was really cool. And David Rasche is so freakin’ funny and insane. Everybody's really good in the movie.”

Juror No. 2: Clint Eastwood's Final Film?

Clint Eastwood in Cry Macho
Warner Bros.

Juror No. 2 follows family man Justin Kemp (Hoult), someone who, "while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma … one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict — or free — the wrong killer." Basso will reportedly play the man on trial if he signs on.

Eastwood himself has not come out publicly and declared that Juror No. 2 will be his very last movie as director, so even if the film is getting promoted that way in its development, some fans may choose to believe that when they see it. At 93 years old, Eastwood seems to be more eager to get back on set to work on Juror No. 2 than he is to be winding down and hanging it up afterward. Time will tell, but it wouldn't be a big surprise if Eastwoood were to announce another film after production on this one is wrapped.

A release date hasn't yet been set for Juror No. 2. For more from Leslie Bibb, you can catch her in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Palm Royale.
