Considering that Liam Hemsworth comes from a family of actors, it's no wonder his on-screen presence is so magnetic. The Australian actor is Chris and Luke Hemsworth's younger brother and, in fact, his roots in the entertainment industry are closely linked to them: after years of watching both of them perform in different productions, Hemsworth discovered his passion for acting during school plays and decided to follow in their footsteps. The actor auditioned for his very first gig at the age of 16 and, just a year later, he landed his first roles in the shows Home and Away and McLeod's Daughters. His first major part came in the soap opera Neighbours, and from then on, Hemsworth's credits in the industry were non-stop.

Throughout the years, Hemsworth managed to make his way in the entertainment industry through TV and film productions, displaying his acting skills and versatility to portray different roles in each and every one of them. His performance in the film series The Hunger Games earned him worldwide recognition as well as several nominations and awards. Since then, he went on to successfully perform characters in films across all genres, from action to romantic comedies, as well as in TV productions. Recently, he made headlines by joining the cast of The Witcher for its fourth season, where he will take over the role of Geralt of Rivia, previously portrayed by Henry Cavill. Since we still have to wait a while to see Hemsworth in this new role, here is a look back at the best movies and TV shows he has worked in so far.
