Liam Neeson has signed on to headline the upcoming thriller Non-Stop for Warner Bros., Dark Castle Entertainment, and director Jeff Wadlow.

We first reported on this project last August, when Dark Castle acquired the screenplay by John Richardson and Chris Roach, and set Jeff Wadlow to direct. The story is set aboard an international flight, and centers on a weary air marshal (Liam Neeson) who must spring into action to contain a threat while the plane is in the air.

Joel Silver is producing for Dark Castle Entertainment alongside Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman. It isn't known when production may begin at this time.

Liam Neeson, Warner Bros., and Dark Castle Entertainment previously teamed up on the thriller Unknown, which took in $130 million worldwide.
