Kingdom Of Heaven: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liam Neeson is girding up to join the crusades. The actor is in negotiations to join Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven, a romantic epic set in the 12th century. Neeson would step into the role of the father of the film's hero (Orlando Bloom). The 20th Century Fox/Scott Free production with a script by William Monahan is scheduled to begin filming in Morocco in January.

Neeson is onscreen in Universal Pictures' Love Actually and next stars in the title role of Fox Searchlight's Kinsey.

David Thewlis has become the latest actor to join the cast of director Ridley Scott's epic "Kingdom of Heaven" for 20th Century Fox. Thewlis will star opposite Orlando Bloom in the film, which is set in 12th century Europe and the Far East. "Kingdom" centers on a young peasant (played by Bloom), who becomes a knight, saves a kingdom and falls in love with a princess. Thewlis will play a priest named Hospitaller.
