Back in February, Warner Bros. handed out a February 6, 2015 release date for Run All Night, but today, the studio has pushed it to April 17, 2015.

Both its current and former release slot are quite competitive, with a number of high-profile projects set on each date. Run All Night will go up against Lionsgate's Child 44, Focus Features' Selfless, Sony's Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and Disney's Monkey Kingdom on April 17. Its former date, February 6, is currently occupied by Jupiter Ascending, Seventh Son, Mortdecai and The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Liam Neeson stars in Run All Night as Jimmy, a hitman who squares off with his employer, a ruthless mafia boss (Ed Harris) to ensure the safety of his estranged son (Joel Kinnaman). Common, Vincent D'Onofrio, Boyd Holbrook, Genesis Rodriguez and Nick Nolte also star in director Jaume Collet-Serra's action-thriller.
