Lifetime Television has given a vote of confidence to Election, a reality series pitting husband-and-wife political consultants James Carville and Mary Matalin against each other as part of a high school election.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the cable network has ordered six half-hour episodes of the show, titled Election, which is set to premiere in the fourth quarter.

The series will see Republican Matalin and Democrat Carville put their White House experience to use when they become rival campaign managers in what's described as a "hotly contested" election for student-body president at a high school in Washington.
