Lifetime has ordered up a second season of their weight loss-themed DietTribe.
According to Variety, the cable net has ordered eight additional episodes of the reality series, which tracks a circle of overweight female friends who have jointly committed to change their lifestyles and eating habits.
The series, produced by Pie Town Prods., garnered 602,000 viewers for its season-one finale Monday, leading out of Wife Swap.
Lifetime officials said they're intrigued by the online community that has coalesced around the show; it largely accounts for a 30% increase in traffic to MyLifetime.com in January.
Lifetime is targeting a summer launch for season two of the series.
