The critically-acclaimed boxing drama Lights Out has been canceled by FX, just a few weeks shy of the season (now series) finale. The remaining two episodes of Lights Out will air at its normal time, 10 PM ET, on Tuesday, March 29 and Tuesday, April 5.
Lights Out premiered in January to modest ratings, with just 1.5 million viewers tuning in for the pilot episode. The ratings continued to decline throughout the season, despite being one of the most well-received new shows all year.
Holt McCallany stars in Lights Out as Patrick "Lights" Leary, a former heavyweight boxing champion who stepped away from the ring five years ago at the request of his wife (Catherine McCormack). After a series of financial setbacks, Lights makes his way back into the ring. The series also stars Stacy Keach, Pablo Schreiber, Billy Brown, and Reg E. Cathey.
