Lily Collins is in talks to headline the romantic comedy Rosaline, directed by Michael Sucsy and based on the novel When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle, which doesn't hit stores until May.

A revisionist take on Romeo and Juliet, Rosaline was Romeo's first love before he became enamored with Juliet. The story is told through Rosaline's eyes, as she watches these two doomed lovers enter into a suicide pact. Deborah Ann Woll and Dave Franco are also in talks for the movie.

There is no set start date for Rosaline, which is being produced through Fox 2000.
