Warner Bros. has hired screenwriter Peter O'Brien to rewrite Line of Sight.

The story centers on a highly-trained military commando unit which is assigned to transport precious cargo during a worldwide threat. F. Scott Frazier wrote the original screenplay, which was picked up by the studio in March.

Joel Silver and Andrew Rona will produce Line of Sight, with Alex Heineman executive producing.

Peter O'Brien is no stranger to the action genre, although his biggest hit is in another medium. Peter O'Brien wrote the story for the XBox 360 video game Halo: Reach, which sold a whopping $200 million worth of units on the first day alone. He also has feature projects Unlocked set up at Warner Bros., and and The Chancellor Manuscript in development at Paramount.
