Lost and Tron: Legacy writers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have sold a new TV project to ABC entitled Once Upon a Time.

The show centers around a female protagonist with a mysterious background in a small, present-day Maine town. The series will be a modern take on fairy tales, which will include elements of sci-fi, mystery and fantasy.

Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof will consult on the project and also serve as executive producer. Once Upon a Time will also feature a large ensemble cast, similar to Lost.
