The last we heard about an adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan's Y: The Last Man was back in 2008 when D.J. Caruso was set to direct the film and Shia LaBeouf was set to star. Now Latino Review is reporting that Clash of the Titans director Louis Leterrier could come aboard to direct.

We reported earlier this week that Leterrier was possibly a choice to direct Marvel's superhero ensemble film The Avengers, but the site reports that since Marvel is trying to regain control of the company from Disney, "no one is making future decisions for the time being."

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any further details on Y: The Last Man as soon as we have more information. Louis Leterrier's film Clash of the Titans opens in 2D and 3D theaters nationwide on April 2.
