A tentpole producer is moving into the literary world for his next project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Lucas Foster ("Mr. and Mrs. Smith", Street Kings) has optioned the rights to the Roberto Zacco novel, The Arms of the Sun.

The novel, which is Zacco's first published novel and also the beginning of a trilogy, focuses on the Nefertiti, an Egyptian pharoh who was the first Egyptian royal to believe in just one single higher power.

Writers are currently being sought for the project, but casting has not yet begun. While a shooting schedule hasn't been announced, there are plans to shoot the film in Morocco and Dubai with a budget of $30 million.
