When the four Marvel Netflix series were announced, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, it was revealed that all of these shows will be entrenched within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that all four characters will join forces to become The Defenders in a Netflix miniseries. While Daredevil debuted its second season earlier this year, Luke Cage is about to debut its first season on September 30, and we already saw Mike Colter's Luke Cage on both Jessica Jones and the new season of Daredevil. During a convention appearance this weekend, Daredevil star Charlie Cox teased that the Daredevil Season 2 timeline actually overlaps with Luke Cage.

A YouTube user known as "ChristineDoesCons" posted a 42-minute video this weekend from a panel that featured Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Elden Henson and Rosario Dawson. Charlie Cox revealed that one particular scene in Daredevil Season 2 featured Claire Temple with an unexplained cut on her eyebrow, which actually happened in the Luke Cage timeline. Here's what he had to say below.

"One thing that I thought was really cool is that in the second season [of Daredevil], we had a scene together and in the storyline we hadn't seen each other for a long time and it takes place at the hospital. Rosario had - Claire Temple has a cut in her eyebrow. So I was like, 'What is that?' Apparently it had nothing to do with our world but it's part of Luke Cage. The timeline had been thought through and worked out so that whatever's going on in Luke Cage, which we don't know, I don't know, somehow at some point during that show, the next day she's in the hospital talking to me."

Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple may be the one character who will appear in all four shows, but we don't know for sure yet if she'll surface in Iron Fist. While on the movie side of the MCU, actors are required to sign contracts spanning multiple movies, it seems that isn't necessarily the case on the TV side, since Rosario Dawson reveals she simply signs on every year. Here's what she had to say about appearing across episodes of multiple shows.

"I've been signing on every year just on its own... I've had a different sort of experience where I really don't know. And then when I do sign up, I sign up for episodes, but they don't tell me which shows. So I have no idea -- I'm just sort of working and have this question mark for the entire year, which is when are they gonna call me? And for what and how is it going to show up? What I do, I come in pretty late, so I won't get those first couple episodes. That happened with the second season [of Daredevil]. When I came on, they didn't send me any of the previous episodes so I suddenly just came in in the middle of all this insanity and they're like, 'You'll watch it at the premiere with the rest of us.' My character's a little standalone in that sense."

In the comics, Claire Temple was romantically linked to the Power Man, so we'll have to wait and see how that relationship plays out in the new Luke Cage series. Netflix also issued a renewal for Daredevil Season 3 at Comic-Con, but we still don't know when that new season will air, since the streaming service still has to debut Iron Fist and The Defenders. While we wait for more details regarding Marvel's Netflix TV universe, take a look at the 42-minute video below from Wizard World Comic-Con in Chicago, with these details listed above coming at the 12-minute mark.
