Luke Hemsworth, the older brother of Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth, has signed on to make his feature film acting debut with The Reckoning.

The story centers on two detectives (Luke Hemsworth and Jonathan LaPaglia) searching for a couple of runaways who have shot video footage of a murder. Jonathan LaPaglia is the younger brother of actor Anthony LaPaglia.

John V. Soto is directing from his own original screenplay, with Deidre Kitcher producing for FilmScope Entertainment. Production is scheduled to begin April 29 in Perth, Australia.

Luke Hemsworth has previously starred in Australian TV shows such as Neighbours.
