Luke Wilson has joined the growing cast of A Many Splintered Thing for Voltage Pictures and director Justin Reardon. We reported earlier this month that Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Plaza, Giovanni Ribisi, and Philip Baker Hall signed on.

The story centers on a man (Chris Evans) who meets a young woman (Michelle Monaghan) by pretending to be a philanthropist. When he finds out she is engaged, he is convinced to strike up a platonic relationship with the woman, to see if he can eventually win her over. No details were given for Luke Wilson's character.

Justin Reardon will direct from a screenplay by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair, which landed on the 2011 Black List. McG is producing with Mary Viola, Nicolas Chartier, and Craig J. Flores. Production begins November 3 in Los Angeles.
