That's a wrap on Knock at the Cabin. As the next feature film from M. Night Shyamalan, there isn't much that has yet been revealed about the movie. Shyamalan typically holds back on revealing the plot details of his films before release, but what's known about Knock at the Cabin is that it has been described as a home invasion horror film set during an apocalypse.

Knock at the Cabin also has a solid cast. Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy, Army of the Dead) stars alongside Rupert Grint (Harry Potter, Servant), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old, The Outfit), Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Fleabag), and Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter, The Matrix Resurrections). When it came to casting his lead star, Shyamalan knew he had to go with Bautista based on the actor's performance in Blade Runner 2049.

“I was really taken by what Denis [Villeneuve] and Dave [Bautista] did in that scene in Blade Runner [2049]. He was still in a way that was powerful,” Shyamalan previously told THR. “There’s a type of stillness where you’re not doing nothing; you’re doing everything and you’re still. Every cell in your body will do what it’s supposed to do if you’re thinking something correctly. And Dave was embodying all of this philosophy in that scene … I didn’t know who he was at that time, and he stuck in my head. So when this script came, I was like, ‘There seems to be one guy who can play this giant human being and do the stillness.’ So I asked Dave.”

Revealing that writing this particular screenplay was a breeze, for better or for worse, Shyamalan added: “I don’t know what this means, so it’ll be interesting to see at the end of it all, but it’s the fastest script I’ve ever written. Signs was the fastest script that I wrote before this. I don’t know if that’s to do with the engine, the movement of it, but we’ll see. I’ve enjoyed it so much, and it’s very emotional.”
