Macaulay Culkin has announced his new middle name. The Home Alone star unveiled a contest on his Bunny Ears website that allowed fans to vote for his new middle name that he will legally change. Voting wrapped on Christmas Eve and Culkin revealed the winning name on Christmas day. The finalists were Macaulay Culkin, Shark Week, Keiran, TheMcribIsBack, and Publicity Stunt, but only one name prevailed and it has created what some fans are referring to "CulkInception."

Macaulay Culkin's middle name is going to be changed to Macaulay Culkin, making his full name Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin, which he is in the process of legally making legit. The actor notes that "it has a good ring to it (if you like my name)." He also states that this is for 2019, so he might only keep that full name for the year and then change it back. However, Culkin has not revealed what his future plans with his new middle name are at the moment.

Macaulay Culkin has been pretty busy in the last handful of months. The actor has been trying to spread the word about his Bunny Ears brand, appearing on talk shows and having fun on YouTube shows. He also recently reprised his role as Kevin McCallister for a Google Home commercial, which quickly went viral. It seems that he has finally grown comfortable with his past, using it for his gain, while still doing something creative in the process. After years of rumors of ill health, the Mac is truly back and fans are loving it.

In one of the aforementioned YouTube shows, Macaulay Culkin sat with the Angry Video Game Nerd and reviewed all of the Home Alone video games, which are all notoriously terrible. The video is 20 minutes of the two shouting expletives at the camera while playing the old video games. Culkin returned for an episode where he, the host, and some friends sit back and watch Big Trouble in Little China. Culkin clearly loves the movie and knows a lot about it, making for another entertaining video that doesn't have anything to do with Home Alone or its many sequels.

Over the holiday, Seth Rogen blew a lot of people's minds when he revealed that Angels with Filthy Souls from Home Alone is a fake movie. The comedian said that he thought that the movie was real for most of his childhood, and Macaulay Culkin chimed in to say that he thought the very same thing. Culkin's current middle name is Carson, but it won't be for long. Culkin will more than likely post a picture of his driver's license when he gets everything sorted out to prove that he went through with the publicity stunt, which will probably coincide with something new on Bunny Ears.
