"Out here, everything hurts!" Is there a more unexpectedly anticipated action thriller this May than Mad Max: Fury Road? The previous trailer was absolutely insane! Now, a new Japanese trailer has arrived, and while it's a shorter, slicker 1 minute jolt of intense craziness, it does come packed with a few select, never-before seen moments that make it a worthwhile watch. While it's not much, the footage that we have seen, set to thunderous pounding music, will surely have you smiling all over again.

In Mad Max: Fury Road, director George Miller continues the saga he created in 1980 with Mad Max, then continued in 1982 with Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, and 1985 with Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

Even though we have Avengers: Age of Ultron and Jurassic World waiting in the wings, Mad Max: Fury Road may just prove to be the movie of the summer! While we await its arrival, check out the latest from this badass bolt of electrified cinema the likes of which we haven't seen since the mid-80s. Will it rejuvenate the apocalyptic sub genre that was so prevalent three decades ago? Or does Warner Bros. just know how to make a really killer trailer?
