Our friends over at Latino Review are on a role tonight with the scoops. First they broke the news about the lead in The Punisher 2. Now, according to El Mayimbe, they're telling us that Malin Akerman has been cast as Silk Spectre in Watchmen.

The Silk Spectre is one of many superheroes that have been forced into retirement by the government. The Watchmen is based on an Alan Moore graphic novel from the 1980s. Billy Crudup also stars in the film as Dr. Manhattan, and we've just learned that Matthew Goode will be playing Ozymandias.
