Mark A. Altman's Maltman Entertainment has plans to remake the 1983 comedy, My Tutor, in partnership with Crown Intl. Pictures.

According to Variety, the original film centered on a high school senior who flunks his French final, prompting his parents to hire a (sexy) French tutor to help him pass a make-up exam. Screenplay for the remake will be adapted by Steven Kriozere.

Shooting is expected to start in October.
