Just hours after glimpses of Maps to the Stars footage was teased in the New York Film Festival video, Entertainment One has released a second international trailer for director David Cronenberg's upcoming drama.

Julianne Moore stars as a Hollywood actress who is attempting a comeback by starring in the remake of an original classic made famous by her own mother. Mia Wasikowska also stars as a mysterious young woman who the actress hires as her personal assistant, with Robert Pattinson, John Cusack, Carrie Fisher, Olivia Williams and Sarah Gadon rounding out the cast. The drama will arrive in Canadian theaters October 31, with Focus World targeting an early 2015 VOD/theatrical release in the U.S.

With this tale of a secret-filled Hollywood family on the verge of implosion, award-winning director David Cronenberg forges both a wicked social satire and a very human ghost story from our celebrity-obsessed culture. From a screenplay by acclaimed author, screenwriter and West Coast chronicler Bruce Wagner, and featuring an ensemble cast that includes Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, John Cusack, Robert Pattinson, Olivia Williams and Sarah Gadon, Maps to the Stars tours the seductive allure and the tender, darkly comic underbelly of contemporary success.
