It seems that filmmaker Marc Forster has found a new project to produce and possibly to direct as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Forster is setting up a new film project entitled Heretics.

Marcus Hinchey is writing the film, which is based off an episode of the radio series This American Life. The film will be based off the true story of Carlton Pearson, an evangelist who was ostracized by his own church and branded a heretic when he started preaching that hell didn't exist.

Ira Glass, who produces and writes for the radio program, will produce the film with his producing partner, Alissa Shipp and Bradford Simpson from Forster's company Apparatus.

It was said that Forster could also possibly direct the film as well. No production schedule was given at this time.
