Margot Robbie has taken the female lead in Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's upcoming comedy Focus. Will Smith has already been attached to star.

The story follows a veteran conman, who takes a young attractive woman under his wing. Things get complicated when they develop a romantic relationship.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone were previously in talks to join, but exited due to scheduling conflicts. Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart were later rumored for the lead roles, but that casting fell apart as well.

Margot Robbie will next be seen in Richard Curtis's sci-fi comedy About Time and has a role in Martin Scorsese's crime drama The Wolf of Wall Street.

Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are directing from a script they co-wrote. Denise DiNovi will be producing. No production schedule has been released.
