Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy voiced The Joker and Batman throughout the run of the animated DC Universe series, beginning with Batman and running through Justice League, and for many fans those two are the iconic voices for the characters. Fortunately for those fans, it's time for another dose of their vocal acting ability as both actors have signed on to voice the characters in Batman: Arkham Asylum, the latest Batman video game.

Created by Eidos Interactive, and written by Paul Dini, Batman: Arkham Asylum will be based on no one particular version of Batman, drawing instead from the characters' long history. In the game, Batman must deal with the villains housed in Arkham escaping from their captivity and taking over the Asylum.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is scheduled for an August 2009 release, and will be available for Playstation3, XBOX 360 and Windows PCs.
