Mark Millar's Kick-Ass is moving forward quickly, under the guidance of director Matthew Vaughn, and several of the cast have been named, but as yet the lead role of Dave Lizewski has gone unnamed. Speaking to The Fourth Wall podcast Millar discussed a bit about the casting, as well as admitting that Liezewski has been cast - but not by anyone American audiences would know.

"I know exactly who should play Dave Liezewski because he just got the job last week," Millar said. "It's really hard to get charismatic actors at that age, but we lucked out. We got one and he's absolutely brilliant."

Filming begins on Kick-Ass in early September, beginning in London and then moving to a Canadian city that will double as New York.
