Here's what the actor, who portrayed real-life boxer Mickey Ward in the drama, had to say about a follow-up to The Fighter.

"Now we're gonna talk about doing No. 2. We're gonna do the Ward /Gatti trilogy and make it real."

In real life, Mickey Ward fought Arturo Gatti three times. Mark Wahlberg has recommended that Extra host Mario López try out to play Gatti. Here is what he said to the host on air.

"And you know what? You may want to play Gatti."
