Mean Girls director Mark Waters is set to direct the pilot of Eva Adams, Sony Pictures TV's stateside version of Argentinean telenovela Lalola for Fox.

According to Variety, Waters and his producing partner, Jessica Tuchinsky, will serve as exec producers on the hourlong project from writer Kevin Falls.

Eva Adams revolves around the experience of a lothario who somehow turns into a woman and is forced to endure the same kind of womanizing that he used to dole out. The U.S. adaptation is set in the world of sports and fashion.
