Variety reports that Martin Lawrence is coming back for Big Momma's House 3.
Regency is financing this film that will also star Brandon T. Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief).
20th Century Fox will distribute this film that will be directed by John Whitesell. He directed Big Momma's House 2.
In this new installment, FBI agent Malcolm Turner (Lawrence) and his 17-year-old nephew, Trent (Jackson), go undercover at an all-girls performing arts school after Trent sees a murder. Posing as Big Momma and Charmaine, they must find the murderer before he comes after them.
If the filmmakers have their way, this new installment will not be called Big Momma's House 3.
