It seems that a classic work of John Milton is heading for the silver screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Martin Poll is setting up an adaptation of John Milton's classic poem, Paradise Lost.

Poll is working from a script by John Collier, which was published in book form in 1973 and, even though the writer died in 1980, Poll continued to renew his option on the screenplay. Now it seems that an indie version of his script is going forward, with a budget between $30 and $35 million.

It was said that the film could go into production as early as this summer, with little-known actors David Dunham and Patrica Li Bryan set to portray Adam and Eve in the film. It was said the producers are aiming at a top film star to portray Satan in the adaptation.
