While we've seen quite a few photos and even a teaser trailer for Marvel's Daredevil, Netflix seems intent on keeping us all in the dark in terms of the iconic costume that Charlie Cox will wear in this new TV series. Most of the photos have been extremely dark, which don't help the fact that blind lawyer turned vigilante Matt Murdock is wearing a black suit. Film Ink, Australia's best movie magazine, has a new look at Charlie Cox in character, and it might be the best image we've seen yet.

Marvel's Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. The black suit we see in the below image was inspired by Frank Miller's take on the character. The legendary artist and writer left his indelible mark on the iconic Marvel character starting with Daredevil issue #158 in 1979, and is credited with breathing new life into Matt Murdock while further fleshing out the world of Hell's Kitchen which he inhabits.

It has been said that we will eventually see Charlie Cox pull on the iconic red Daredevil suit that everyone knowns and loves. But as Marvel's Daredevil debuts this April on Netflix, its clear that the first couple of episodes will feature Murdock in this more traditional pitch black costume. All 13 episodes will be made available globally on April 10, so if you really want to find out when and how Matt gets his red suit, it won't be a long wait, you'll just need to skip ahead to the later episodes. And you know someone is going to do that as soon as they come online. While we wait, take a sneak peek at the latest look:
