Following the motion poster that debuted last week, Marvel has released a new poster and photo from their highly-anticipated series Marvel's Daredevil. The poster gives us a good look at the first costume Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) wears, as he takes up the crime-fighting moniker Daredevil. Fans will also get to see that costume eventually evolve into the classic red costume with devil horns, which was briefly teased in last week's motion poster.

Charlie Cox is joined by a cast that includes Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley), Scott Glenn (Stick), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna), Vondie Curtis-Hall (Ben Urich) and Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley) in Marvel's Daredevil. Marvel's Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. As you can see in the photo below the poster, Matt Murdock is seen hitting the heavy bag, using boxing as a part of his training to take down his enemies in Hell's Kitchen. In the comic books, Matt's father was a boxer, an aspect of the story expected to cross over to this Netflix TV series.

Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel) serves as showrunner for Marvel's Daredevil, alongside executive producers Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods, Lost, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in addition to writing the first two episodes of Marvel's Daredevil) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Smallville, Heroes). With just under three weeks left until Season 1 starts streaming on Netflix, hopefully we'll get plenty more photos and footage to tide us over. In the meantime, take a look at the poster and photo below from Marvel's Daredevil.
