/marvel-daredevil-netflix-episode-titles-directors/Earlier today, we reported that the British Board of Film Classification had revealed the titles and directors for the first three Marvel's Daredevil episodes. The BBFC has also released the runtime of these three episodes, along with their official British rating. And fans expecting a more gritty adventure series shouldn't be disappointed.

As the Netflix series was heading into production, we often heard that this would be darker than Marvel's more recent fare. The first three episodes have earned a 15 rating, which falls between an American PG-13 and an R, and indicates that no one under the age of 15 should watch the show without the accompaniment of a parent or guardian. If you couldn't tell from some of the more realistic fight scenes witnessed in the trailer and teased by series show runner Steven S. DeKnight, Daredevil has earned it's 15 for 'strong bloody violence'.

Daredevil's first episode is titled "Into the Ring" and is directed by Phil Abraham. It has a runtime of 52 minutes and 47 seconds. Phil Abraham, a TV veteran who has directed episodes of Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and, most recently, The Strain and Orange Is the New Black, also directed the second episode "Cut Man", which has a runtime of 52 minutes and 28 seconds. The third episode is titled "Rabbit in a Snow Storm", and is directed by Adam Kane, who has worked on Falling Skies, Supernatural and Sleepy Hollow.

Unfortunately, none of these episode titles arrived with a synopsis, so we'll have to guess their meaning until we get closer to the debut. Marvel's Daredevil promise to be a more grounded, authentic, suspenseful and edgy action drama featuring a great cast that includes: Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Vondie Curtis-Hall as Ben Ulrich, Scott Glenn as Stick, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna, Bob Gunton and Leland Owlsey, Toby Leonard Moore as Wesley.
