Angelina Jolie has been spotted in full costume on the set of Marvel's Eternals. The movie is currently shooting in the Canary Islands and had a recent bomb scare. A few days ago, the cast and crew were quickly evacuated, but it was not due to a terrorist attack or anything malicious. Instead, it is believed that a crew member uncovered a bomb that had been there since WWII. Apparently the Nazis had a base on the island and the bomb was left over from there. Still, the production was not going to risk anything and had everybody evacuate for safety.

The latest photos from the set feature Angelina Jolie in her superhero costume, presumably snapped after the big Eternals set bomb scare. Jolie is playing Thena in the movie and looks pretty awesome in the grainy pictures. Gemma Chan and Brian Tyree Henry are also spotted in the photos in full costume. These images mark the first time that we have gotten a real feel for what Eternals will look like in terms of tone. We have previously seen the cast on set wearing normal clothing.

In addition to Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, and Brian Tyree Henry, Eternals also stars Richard Madden (Ikaris), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), Kit Harington (Black Knight), and Barry Keoghan (Druig). We have yet to spot Harington on the set, but we have seen his former Game of Thrones co-star Madden wearing normal clothing. We have yet to see Madden in full costume, but that should happen at any time now that we've seen these new images of Jolie, Chan, and Henry.

The official cast of Marvel's Eternals was finally announced at this year's San Diego Comic-Con after months of speculation. Angelina Jolie was interviewed at the annual event and noted that she was going to be working extra hard to capture Thena on the big screen in a way that comic book fans will enjoy. "I'm going to work 10 times harder because I think what it means to be a part of the MCU, what it means to be an Eternal, to be a part of this family, I know what we all need to do," said the actress.

Eternals is currently in production and is hitting theaters in November 2020. The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4 is underway and will kick off in just a few short months with the standalone Black Widow movie, which is currently in the post-production process. Scarlett Johansson is taking the lead as Natasha Romanoff for what might be the last time ever, though that has not been confirmed at this time. The actress seems to have hinted that a franchise could be in the cards. Regardless, with these new Eternals images, we should be getting more looks at the characters in the near future.
