When the official Comic-Con schedule was announced a few weeks ago, one of the highlights of the Thursday programs was Marvel and Netflix's Luke Cage panel. Since only the cast and producers for Luke Cage were announced, many fans were quite surprised when Iron Fist star Finn Jones made a surprise video appearance in Ballroom 20, before presenting the first trailer for the long-awaited series. Marvel and Netflix still haven't revealed when the show will premiere, but they also released a new poster, which teases that the show will in fact debut sometime in 2017.

Finn Jones was been confirmed to star in the Netflix Original Series Iron Fist bacak in March, portraying the iconic Danny Rand in the new 13-episode series for Netflix. In the series, Danny will return to New York City after being missing for years. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. We don't quite get to see this power in the first trailer, courtesy of Twitter, but it's clear that Danny Rand is not one to be taken lightly.

Carrie-Anne Moss has also come aboard to reprise her role from Jessica Jones as lawyer Jeri Hogarth, to Danny Rand with help as he returns to New York. She also appeared in the Season 2 finale of Daredevil. The Iron Fist cast also includes Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum.

Scott Buck (Dexter serves as executive producer and showrunner of Iron Fist along with Jeph Loeb. Marvel's Iron Fist is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. Iron Fist is the last of the four Netflix shows, before The Defenders brings Daredevi, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, premiering on September 30, and Iron Fist together to take on a powerful threat. Aside from Carrie-Anne Moss}' Jeri Hogarth, it isn't known if any other characters from the first three shows will turn up in Iron Fist.

Production has already started on Iron Fist, but we haven't seen any photos from the set at this time. It isn't known if there are more cast members to be announced at a later date, but we'll be sure to keep you posted with the latest updates.
