Just a few weeks after Marvel unveiled its entire Phase Three schedule at a special press event in Hollywood, the studio has released the official Phase Three timeline poster that showcases the entire nine-movie slate and confirms that Ant-Man is now officially a part of Phase Two. Captain America: Civil War - May 6, 2016

Phase Three kicks off with Captain America: Civil War, which will surely alter the Marvel Cinematic Universe landscape in several ways, starring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man and new addition Chadwick Boseman as new addition Black Panther. Daniel Brühl has also joined the cast last week, reportedly playing one of the villains.

Doctor Strange - November 4, 2016

Benedict Cumberbatch is in final talks to play the title character, under the direction of Scott Derrickson. No story details have been confirmed, but we reported that the main villain may be first introduced in Captain America: Civil War.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - May 5, 2017

James Gunn is returning to write and direct this sequel, which will bring back the main cast from this summer's blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. No story details have been confirmed, but the filmmaker said that Star-Lord's father will be revealed in the follow-up, and teased a number of new characters recently.

Thor: Ragnarok - July 28, 2017

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are set to reprise their roles as Thor and Loki, although no director has been announced yet. In the Marvel comics, Ragnarok was a cyborg clone of Thor who was introduced in the Civil War storyline, so it's possible that Captain America: Civil War may introduce this clone as well.

Black Panther - November 3, 2017

Chadwick Boseman is set to star as T'challa in this stand alone adventure, after being introduced in Captain America: Civil War. No writer or director has been announced for the project at this time.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 - May 4, 2018

The main cast from Marvel's The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron will reunite in the first of this two-part sequel, which may be directed by Captain America: Civil War filmmakers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Josh Brolin's Thanos will also play a major part in the story, but other details have not been confirmed.

Captain Marvel - July 6, 2018

No cast members or filmmakers have been announced yet, but this will be Marvel's first female-lead stand along superhero adventure.

Inhumans - November 6, 2018

This project will take fans further into Marvel's cosmic realm that was first explored in Guardians of the Galaxy, although no cast members or filmmakers have been announced yet.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 - May 3, 2019

The culmination of this nine-movie saga that will likely be shot back-to-back with Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.
