Tobe Hooper is back in a very big way...

There is a Damned Things coming to DVD this September!

Don't miss your chance to see what Dread Central called "the finest work [Tobe] Hooper has done since The Texas Chainsaw Massacre!" Making his presence felt in last season's Masters of Horror episode Dance of the Dead, Hooper digs for even greater shocks and chills with the October 16th DVD release of The Damned Thing from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Pre-book for this vast reserve of terror is September 13th with an SRP of $14.98. Adapted by Richard Christian Matheson (Dance of the Dead) from the classic short story by famed author Ambrose Bierce, The Damned Thing stars Sean Patrick Flannery (The Boondock Saints) as Kevin Reddle, who, as a boy, watched helplessly as both of his parents fell victim to an inexplicable force and were brutally murdered.

Still haunted by the memories of that night and the invisible force that caused it, Kevin, now a county sheriff in the tiny hamlet of Cloverdale, lives in constant fear that whatever "it" was may one day return to claim even more victims. Suddenly, a fresh wave of violence blossoms into a living nightmare, turning husband against wife, brother against sister and parent against child - and Kevin must confront his tragic past if he is to save the town and his family. Marisa Coughlan (Boston Legal), Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason) and Ted Raimi (The Grudge) co-star.
