Matt Walsh is set to direct the improvised comedy High Road that he co-wrote with Josh Weiner, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Numerous comedians have already boarded the project, including Horatio Sanz (Saturday Night Live), Rob Riggle (The Daily Show), Abby Elliott (Saturday Night Live), Lizzy Caplan (Hot Tub Time Machine), Kyle Gass and Zach Woods (The Office).

The film follows a part-time weed dealer who goes on the run with a 16-year-old smartass after a drug deal goes bad. Joe Lo Truglio, Andrew Daly, Brandon Johnson, Seth Morris, Joe Nunez, Rich Fulcher and Dylan O'Brien also have joined the cast.

"After creating an improvised sitcom for Spike TV called 'Players,' I wanted to try my skills at a longer format, and I am fortunate enough to know some of the funniest actors around," Walsh said.

Northern Lights Films is producing and financing the project, which began shooting this week.
